A Guide to our Primary school activities
An outline of our work is below....

The work is going well in primary schools. We have been following the SEAL themes in many schools – this term is entitled “It’s good to be me” – we’ve looked at Daniel, Jesus’ healings and Paul and Silas in prison to name a few stories. In lunch clubs we have been looking at the story of Pilgrims Progress, with a different chapter each week. Many children have really enjoyed acting out the story and thinking about how it relates to their lives. Next term it looks like Hannah may be creating a series entitled “God’s got talent” – watch this space!
Future assemblies
We’re hoping for some more assemblies in Stoke Hill. They have shelved their whole
school assemblies for the moment (reasons unknown) but are happy for us to do year
group assemblies – one we’ve done in year 5 so far. It would be good to get more
in but they are harder and a bit more complex to book and we have had to seek out
teachers-
R.E. lessons and year 6 transition lessons
Top prize goes to Ladysmith Junior School for already booking in the MOUSE project (year 6 transition package, lessons)! We’re hoping for more as we write to schools to offer it, after Easter. Again the plan is, to present the assemblies and lessons with secondary school ICE workers, as we’ve done for many years.
We are also hoping for R.E. lessons, especially in Whipton Barton who are quite keen to get us in again.
Wings of Faith
We had a great time visiting Pinhoe, St Sidwell’s and Brampford Speke for assemblies.
We looked at how God has made all creation unique and special just like the birds-
