There are two parts of the Secondary Schools Team! You have the Office Team who are paid members of staff in Exeter ICE and are therefore able to be in schools full time.

The second part is the Volunteer Team. These are people who have volunteered from local Christian churches, to give their time to work and help in schools.  There are two different types of volunteers in the Secondary Schools Team:

A Contact Worker: Where there are no available members of the Office Team an Associate Worker may volunteer to become the main contact with a school.  They help to keep the Office informed of potential new initiatives required by the school, liaise with the Secondary Schools Coordinator, and with the onsite ICE team.

An Associate Worker:  Is a volunteer from a local church who will work in a school alongside and under the guidance of firstly any member of the Office Team, or their Contact Worker.
