Anne-Marie has  moved on from her work with ICE but  continues to work with St Michael’s Church in Alphington. She is also planning to do some short term overseas work.  Anne-Marie finished with ICE on Friday 25th June 2010. Please pray for Anne-Marie in her change of focus in christian work

 

Pray for Hannah as she adjusts to a busy schedule without Anne-Marie. Pray that other volunteers may come forward to help maintain the work that has been developed in Primary schools. Pray also that funds might be available to appoint another Primary schools worker.

 

Ed Bird is continuing to review and co-ordinate the work with Secondary school students both within the schools and the wider church activities.

 

He reports on:-

 

The proposed Explore programme (marriage and relationship day) planned for St James School in October

 

A new music project that has started at St Peter's with a goal to eventually have students playing worship songs in assemblies and other gatherings.

 

A new CU starting at Maynards in September - Rachael Holyome (St Leonard's) is going to help run this.

 

A new post involving Clyst Mission Community churches and secondary schools work has been advertised. Pray for applicants & selection interviews for this new post - an ICE Secondary schools worker to be shared with Clyst Mission Community churches
